The Art Squared was created in Virginia in 2018 as Artistic Articulation.  Originally founded to provide art instruction to the public, the company has broadened its scope and provides an interactive marketplace for art enthusiasts and everyday people who are interested in handcrafted and curated products for their home and body.  The Art Squared now operates in the state of Illinois.

The Art Squared is operated by a small business owner who also serves her community and the nation as a fellow American and veteran.

Products made by the company are made with natural ingredients and contain no preservatives.  The Art Squared also prides itself on the hand-crafted process for both its home and body care products.

We use natural ingredients for our home and body products.  For our candles and wax melts, we use a coconut soy wax blend.  Where stated, apricot wax may be used.  The wicks for our candles are made from balsa wood or a cotton wick.  Fragrance oils specifically designed for candle making are used in our candles along with some essential oils.

Simple and all-natural products are used in our body care products.  The body butter/cream contains shea butter, mango butter and olive oil.  Our salt scrub is made from Himalayan pink salt; our sugar scrub is made with organic brown and refined sugars.  We only use essential oils in our body care products for fragrance.  There are also fragrance-free options for sensitive skin.

Our candles' scents are noticeably present - especially on the hot throw.  There are some scents that may not emit a strong fragrance on the cold throw, but the scent will develop when the candle is lit or when used with a candle warmer.

A cold throw is the scent of a candle when it is not lit.  The hot throw is the candle's scent when it has been lit/warmed.  

A wooden wick and a wick made from another material are essentially used the same way.  Similar to its counterparts, wooden wicks should be trimmed to roughly 1/4 an inch prior to each use.  Candle trimmers are commonly used to ensure a clear cut so the unburned wood on the wick can be re-lit.
